- Microphone & Audio Input: Mochi requires microphone access to record your voice during practice sessions (Freestyle Speaking, Tongue Twisters, Minimal Pairs, and Teleprompter modules). Audio recordings are temporarily captured and processed to transcribe your speech and generate evaluations.
2. Data Usage & Security
- No Sharing or Selling: We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information, transcribed voice recordings, or practice history with third-party advertisers or external developers.
- Row-Level Protection: All your files, audio logs, and evaluations are hosted using secure cloud infrastructure with Row- Level Security (RLS) policies. This ensures that your private speech history is accessible exclusively by you.
- Data Processing: Collected voice audio is analyzed solely to provide you with active coaching insights, speed zone indicators, and visual fluency highlights.
3. Subscriptions and Purchases
Mochi offers optional premium subscriptions (e.g., unlimited speech evaluations, ad-free experience, and custom daily drills). All mobile payments, subscription states, and transactions are securely processed and maintained via Google Play, the Apple App Store, and RevenueCat. We do not store or process your credit card details or financial information directly.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Your account data, speaking history, and metrics are retained for as long as your account remains active. You hold complete ownership over your data. You may request the permanent deletion of your profile, transcripts, and all associated practice telemetry at any time by emailing us at hello@tuntoon.com.
5. Disclaimer & Security Practices
We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS) for data in transit and at rest to ensure the safety of your information. While we maintain routine system backups and robust database integrations, TunToon provides no warranties against potential data losses arising from unforeseen severe server outages or force majeure occurrences.
6. Children’s Privacy
Mochi: Articulation Coach is not designed or intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal details or audio inputs from children.
